Hello,  for the commercial assignment I choose Ashleigh Miller, Britanique Simpson, and Isabel D'Onofrio. I met Ashleigh in my Spanish class in my sophomore year in high school. We were really good friends and we helped each other out a lot that year. I met Britanique also in my Spanish class we also created a good friendship there. We both worked on projects and learned to work together. I met Isabel in my senior year in AICE media studies. She needed a group to work in and we wanted to work with another person so she joined us. Since then we have gotten along really well and with everyone else. I'm excited to work with this group and get to create a commercial with them. We all communicate really well together as a group. At the moment we are assigning tasks on who is doing what. We first wanted to create a concept we all thought about for a bit and decided to go with Ashleigh's idea. Her idea was to do it on ink joy pens. We thought all about how we could make something cool and we thought about creating a short story on losing a pen and finding it again and the journey it took to get there. This was a really fun process to go through as a group, we laughed and brainstormed new concepts and ideas. After we are done brainstorming we are creating our blogs and finalizing what everyone is going to contribute to the project. We had a discussion to find out what each of our strengths is and who would be better of to do the task. The process was fun as we talked about it in a group and talked about our strengths and weaknesses. Overall I'm happy to be working with friends and new friends. This project is going to be a blast.

  My group has not yet decided on a song for our music video. We have, however, devised a list of songs that we could do. We also thought about where we would film them, and what the story for the video would be like. One song picked was   Time of  Our Lives   by Pitbull and Ne-Yo. This song is very upbeat so we thought about filming it in a car driving down the road with the roof down heading to the beach. The song talks about having a good time so we wanted to show us being worry-free and having fun.      There is no exact costume to wear for a music video. What we wear will depend on the type of music that is featured. For example, if we were to do  Time of Our Lives , we would be in casual attire such as t-shirts and shorts or swimsuits for the beach scene.  Props also differ based on the type of music and location where the video is filmed. Filming Blog: Senior patio

 Today I went out with my group to began day two of shooting. The second I walked outside I could feel the sun beating on me. my teammates also felt how hot it was. I went down the stairs and proceeded to walk to the bathroom to change. I walked in and changed really quick because we didn't have that much time today. After I was done changing I walked to the senior patio and saw my teammates setting up the shot and discussing what we need to do. When I went to the table we started talking about how we needed to reshoot the shot from the last day of filming. I ran into a problem with my team though. One of my teammates didn't have the same outfit on as last time so instead, we had to redo the whole shot. After we came to that conclusion my team and I had to find a grey jacket to use so we didn't have to redo the shot. This would save us so much time. Film Review

 Today my team and I had given our video to someone so they can review it. My team and I did this so we could get constructive criticism. The film wasn't all the way done. All of our clips were in order though so it ran smooth enough. We asked our teammate's history teacher if he would like to review it and he said yes. He enjoys Theatritical work so we thought he would give good feedback. One thing he pointed out was the lighting in the film. The filter that my team and I put on it was too like and gave off the effect that it was morning. So my team and I decided to change the filter. We aren't going to stack or overlay filters because we are not quite sure if you can do that on the app my team and I are using. This was a small problem though it shouldn't be hard to fix. He also said that our titles could be put in better and less choppy. They didn't slide into the scenes nicely. They looked out of place in the scenes.
