Production : Music
My team and I have not begun filming yet, but we have started to pick dates. It's harder to pick dates because of our busy schedules. One thing that my team and I can do now is pick the music for our film. In the first scenes, it shows the people in the dream so I wanted it to have a calm and chill sound to it but also an eerie feel to it because the genre is horror. Since the first scene was going to look dreamy the audio had to match up. I looked up harps or whimsical music. After looking around I thought maybe lullaby music that might help or subtle lullaby music. Then I thought maybe a mix but I would have to double-check that thought with my teammates. Another thing we have to overcome is making sure we have the rights for the music used in our film. The last thing my team and I want is to get in trouble for that. So we looked at music that was safe to use on youtube. (11)After the dream scene is done it will transition into the girl waking up the music will then change to something very calm. The music will probably intensify throughout each scene. As she gets her water the music will start to intensify since she is about to be face to face with a doll from her dream. The sound will be low while she getting water so the main focus is the action she is going. As she is walking and sees the doll she will drop her glass and all you will hear is that then the music once the cup has fallen completely. All the attention will be put on the doll as the lady is stunned to speak because she is still scared of her dream. So now I have to look for music that will match the idea in my team and my head. I found a few options for music and sounds already. Now I have to put each sound together and map out the orders.
