Filming blog : The park


 On day one of filming I texted my teammates on where we were going to meet up to film. We texted and went over multiple locations because we had to cut out the bowling scenes. We weren’t able to do bowling because of cost and a lack of a ride. So I texted and said we could do the park and the arcade and my teammates agreed. So I told them I could meet at 3:30 and they could too. I met up with them at the park and we began to map out what we were going to do. My teammates and I ran into a problem during shooting because we didn’t have a couple to work with. So my team and I began to shoot our selves having fun until we found a couple. After shooting for a bit my brother texted me and said him and his girlfriend could come. I waited a bit for them and while I waited we reviewed the videos we had to see if they were good. Then I got a drink and some snacks. While waiting I did some lip singing videos to use for extra clips. After making the videos they arrived. We let them chill for a while than we began. We started on the swings and did some swinging shots. I asked for everyone to look happy while swinging and to be pushed while being on the swings. After that my teammates and I proceed to walk to the basketball court for everyone to do individual shots. We all had to hold the phone and spin while looking happy. Each person went back to back and took there turns. Then I recorded everyone holding hands and doing it so it looks like they were doing it together. Overall we got some great shots that day.

production : costumes/ props

 A big component of the film was costumes. In the first scene, I wanted the couple to look comfortable, maybe wearing pajamas or super casual clothing. Since they will be on the couch I thought that maybe pajamas would be best. After discussing it with my team we all decided on pajamas. Maybe be striped pajamas or maybe all one color pajamas. I'm thinking about this hard because I feel like it would be very important to the scene and it might add or take away attention to the plot. The little girl with the doll would be wearing a dress or something kinda creepy. The dress would probably look similar to the doll or resemble it and have similar colors to it. I was thinking about shirt and jeans for the little girl holding the doll but I felt that wouldn't be creepy enough. So the dress is for now. Filming Blog: Senior patio

 Today I went out with my group to began day two of shooting. The second I walked outside I could feel the sun beating on me. my teammates also felt how hot it was. I went down the stairs and proceeded to walk to the bathroom to change. I walked in and changed really quick because we didn't have that much time today. After I was done changing I walked to the senior patio and saw my teammates setting up the shot and discussing what we need to do. When I went to the table we started talking about how we needed to reshoot the shot from the last day of filming. I ran into a problem with my team though. One of my teammates didn't have the same outfit on as last time so instead, we had to redo the whole shot. After we came to that conclusion my team and I had to find a grey jacket to use so we didn't have to redo the shot. This would save us so much time. Let’s Get Our Groove On !!!

  My group has not yet decided on a song for our music video. We have, however, devised a list of songs that we could do. We also thought about where we would film them, and what the story for the video would be like. One song picked was   Time of  Our Lives   by Pitbull and Ne-Yo. This song is very upbeat so we thought about filming it in a car driving down the road with the roof down heading to the beach. The song talks about having a good time so we wanted to show us being worry-free and having fun.      There is no exact costume to wear for a music video. What we wear will depend on the type of music that is featured. For example, if we were to do  Time of Our Lives , we would be in casual attire such as t-shirts and shorts or swimsuits for the beach scene.  Props also differ based on the type of music and location where the video is filmed.
